In Machu Picchu there are 4 types of tickets. Each of them offers you a totally different experience.

1. Ticket Machu Picchu Solo

With this ticket you can tour Machu Picchu and see more than the 150 structures that make up the city. You will see temples, terraces, residences, water channels and some other structures whose construction is still a huge mystery.

1st. Schedule:

  • Entrance to Machu Picchu from 6 am.
  • Entrance to Machu Picchu from 7 am.
  • Entrance to Machu Picchu from 8 am.

2nd. Schedule:

  • Entrance to Machu Picchu from 9 am.
  • Entrance to Machu Picchu from 10 am.
  • Entrance to Machu Picchu from 11 am.

3rd. Schedule:

  • Entrance to Machu Picchu from 12 pm.
  • Entrance to Machu Picchu from 1 pm.
  • Entrance to Machu Picchu from 2 pm.

The visitor can stay in Machu Picchu up to 4 hours after entering.

It is recommended to book the Machu Picchu Solo ticket 1 week in advance. During the high tourism season (April to October), up to 3 weeks in advance.

2. Ticket Machu Picchu + Huayna Picchu

With this ticket you can enter the Inca City of Machu Picchu and also ascend to the Huayna Picchu Mountain. This summit is located at 2,693 meters above sea level, It is considered one of the most amazing short hikes in the world.

The Machu Picchu + Museum ticket must be reserved 1 week in advance. Reservations made during the high tourist season (April to October), must be made 3 weeks before.

  • This type of ticket is the only one that allows entry to the Machu Picchu Museum "Manuel Chávez Ballón" in addition to the Inca City of Machu Picchu.
  • The little ones can enjoy the Botanical Garden located next to the Museum.
  • The visit can be done before or after the tour of Machu Picchu. Hours are very flexible.

  • The Manuel Chávez Ballón Site Museum allows people of any age to enter. Children can enjoy Machu Picchu, the Museum and the Botanical Garden located next to it.

  • Where is the Machu Picchu Site Museum?
  • The Site Museum is not located in the Inca City of Machu Picchu. It is located at the Height of the Ruinas Bridge. 112 kms railroad, town of Aguas Calientes.

  • What are the hours of operation of the Site Museum of Machu Picchu?
  • The Site Museum is open Monday through Sunday from 9 am to 4.30 pm.

  • Who is the Machu Picchu + Museum ticket for?
  • The Machu Picchu Site Museum is aimed at people seeking a cultural visit to the Wonder of the World. In its facilities, in addition to ceramic samples and Inca lithic remains, there is a botanical garden.

  • After booking this ticket, you will receive 2 tickets: one to enter the Inca City and the other to the Machu Picchu Site Museum.
