Tips to get to Humantay Lagoon safely

Humantay Lagoon, is a magical, charming, hypnotizing turquoise lagoon that is surrounded by imposing glaciers that are part of the Andes Mountain Range, among these the majestic snow-capped mountains Salkantay and Humantay. When these snowy mountains melt, it gives the water its turquoise color.
During the Humantay Lagoon hike you will find spectacular landscapes, with exotic flora and fauna.

It is located at an altitude of 4,200 meters above sea level, in the district of Mollepata (Anta) in the Vilcabamba mountain range in southern Peru. It is 25 km from the Mollepata main square. The weather is cold. We recommend wearing warm clothes like:
